It's like the Barbie (2023) movie, but set in a Feudal Society.

8.4/10 Stars: A hybrid of Kingdom and The Haunted Palace with visual traits of Stranger Things, The East Palace is light on frights, heavy on squelching, and filled with vengeful spirits-- both living and dead.

8/10 Stars: Objectively, the drama deserves a higher rating, but the content was too graphic for my taste. I am a wee babe when it comes to bloodshed. I recommend for non-sensitive viewers.

8/10 Stars: Zombies, a contract marriage with a subtle romance, and a class war. Not for sensitive viewers.

8.2/10 Stars: An action pact fantasy with a killer cast and a fun plot, that had perhaps too many episodes, but nonetheless was an engaging time.

8.22/10 Stars: A coming of age tale following a teenage girl as she joins an art club and experiences first love and new friendships, faces her insecurities, and struggles to connect with her family.

8.2/10 Stars: An intergenerational saga that follows a Jeju family as they struggle to overcome poverty, loss, and the hardships of each decade, while finding love and purpose.

8.24/10 Stars: A dark, satirical comedy with twists and turns and an subtle, but perfect romance.

8.3/10 Stars: A comedic rom com with an adorable couple who have many embarrassing moments, but the mystery and the chemistry kept me locked in.

8.4/10: Friends fall in and out of love in a coming of adulthood tale filled with comedy, career chasing, and the pursuit of dreams.

8.5/10 Stars: A comedic contemporary fantasy based on a popular Joseon legend with a romance and plot that doesn't sink.

8/10 Stars: A perfect starter Xianxia with oodles of silly whimsy and angst, a swoony 2ML, and a ML you grow to root for.

This rating is based purely on entertainment value. It is a fun time not a quality time. I'd recommend to those who are willing to suspend disbelief in favor of great chemistry and swoony romance.
