Spoiler-Free Mini Review:
Based on the Web Novel "The Best of Tomorrow", Lovely Runner is the comedic and thrilling drama that launched Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon into permanant lead roles. This is a dual adult/ youth drama, though most of the plot takes place when the characters are in highschool. It's so fun to watch the adult Im Sol in the body of her teenage self, but if you fear secondhand embarrassment, you're going to need a hand to hold while watching, because it was so real.

Lovely Runner took me a couple episodes to get into it and I think the drama might be one that gets better with a rewatch, knowing the full context. Some scenarios felt repetitive, but I don't think I skipped ahead at all. Don't go in expecting the "fantasy" element to be super present.

Overall, a fun and funny drama, although at times the Female Lead cried too much (lol) and there was a plot line I totally thought was going to happen but did not happen (boo). I know this is a non spoiler review, but this drove me nuts, so click at your own peril.
