My Bias, My Boss Full Review: Don't Meet Your Idols
6/10 Stars: A mediocre rom com with little chemistry where a fangirl lands a dream job at the company founded by her favorite Idol, only to find herself Reverse Uno-ed when her idol becomes her second biggest fan, with first place going to none other than the CEO.

Spooky in Love Full Review: A Supernatural Romance That gave Up the Ghost Of What Made It Interesting
6.9/10 Stars: Spooky in love was touted by marketing material as a supernatural romance with chills and thrills galore, but it was merely your average Chaebol Rom Com dressed up in ghostly attire it ditched all too soon. Though it wasn’t as spook-tacular (I couldn’t help myself) as I hoped it would be, it was still a nice time and added some fun to tired tropes. And with the utter graveyard of failed dramas this year, the barebones of a good story is enough for me.

September 2026 K-Drama Releases
August was the month of K-Dramas for me. I completed The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, Spooky in Love, and The Matchmakers. I dropped a few dramas as well: Our Sticky Love (Couldn't stand the FL), The Devil Judge (Too cheesy), and Kangchi, The Beginning (Tell me why the ML is in love with his adopted sister in the beginning. Yick). I'm currently in the midst of My Bias, My Boss...

Dream to You: Dropped Drama Diaries
What. Could. Have Been.
Dream to You promised a tale as old as trope, featuring the classic high school sweethearts torn apart without rhyme or reason reuniting in adulthood. And I guess it was that, just done badly...

Our Sticky Love: Dropped Drama Diaries
Dropped: Our Sticky Love isn't a sticky as it thought it was, because it in no way adhered to my good opinion. The drama is a Rom Com that tried desperately to be cheeky by being self aware and referential with sly looks directly at the camera, but drank too much of it's own K-Drama kool aid to think about how it looked on the other end.

The First Jasmine: Dropped Drama Diaries

My Royal Nemesis: Dropped Drama Diaries
So I'm torn... because the first chunk of episodes were so funny, but the plot lost it's flavor the longer it went on. ..

Blossoms of Power Full Review: When Too Many Flowers Crowd The Tree
6.8/10 Stars: A ruthless Princess reborn must find herself a Prince... and the sickly Crown Prince is determined to the one she picks, in a Period Idol Romance that explores unrequited love, power, and the balance in between. The drama has a garden of handsome men whose scheming looked dimensional from a distance, but up close, proved to be flat idol centric origami at work. Nevertheless, some enjoyment is to be had.

You Have My Heart (Mini Drama): Spoiler-Free Mini Review
5/10 Stars: Loved the FL character and actress, along with the world building, but the characterization and storytelling could've used some refinement.

In Your Radiant Season: Spoiler-Free Mini Review
5.7/10 Stars: A Hallmark story that lacked energy, chemistry, and common sense. It wasn't awful, but I wish I would've dropped.

Boyfriend on Demand: Spoiler-Free Mini Review
6/10 Stars: An inoffensive nothing burger that should have been a movie, but relies on Jisoo's star power and cameos to make up the difference. It's a fine watch if you're bored, but there is a risk you might become even more bored.

Generation to Generation: Spoiler-Free Mini Review
6/10 Stars: Generation to Generation is an.. uh.. unexpected feast for the eyes, that really leans into the zany with crazy costumes, terrible lighting, and remarkably bad editing. Despite this, some wisps of a great story still peak through, aided by a fantastic older generation of characters, and younger characters (and actors) who still have a long way to go.

Can This Love Be Translated?: Spoiler-Free Mini Review
6.2/10 Stars: A genre rollercoaster that is sure to give you whiplash with a standout performance by Go Youn Jung, who gave her all to translate a convoluted plot into something with meaning. Can this love be translated? Eh, I'm not sure....It was a confuddling time.

6.4/10 Stars: A Robin Hood-esque Joeson tale of body swapping and romance that suffers from severe miscasting and inconsistent story telling, but is still a mostly pleasant watch.

Veil of Shadows: Spoiler-Free Mini Review
6.8/10 Stars: This was not good and I know that. In fact, it was downright ridiculous, but I watched the whole thing. It leans both dark AND childish somehow, and I thought we would land some place different than we did. What a fever dream. I don't really recommend, but you do you.
