Synopsis:
Tak Dong Gyeong has been working hard ever since her parents passed away. Her life seemed more stable after working as a web novel editor for 6 years, but then she gets diagnosed with glioblastoma (brain cancer). She blames her unlucky life and wishes to curse everything to disappear, which unintentionally calls Myeol Mang, Doom himself - neither human nor god - to appear. Myeol Mang says that he can grant Dong Gyeong's wishes. As her last hope, she makes a contract with Myeol Mang for a hundred days to live how she wants, risking her everything. @MDL

Spoiler-Free Mini Review:
Doom At Your Service has one real requirement in order for you to enjoy the drama: Turn off your brain.
The story starts out with our Female Lead coping with the discovery that she is dying of cancer, so naturally (?), she wants to doom the world along with her, and to her astonishment, doom himself appears. She then makes a deal with the devil:
Dong Kyung (FL) will not experience any pain
Myulmang (ML) will grant one real wish of Dong Kyung
Myulmang (ML) won't pry on Dong Kyung's thoughts
Dong Kyung (FL) has to wish for doom upon the world before she dies
In case Dong Kyung doesn't wish for doom, the person she loves the most will die instead.
Except here's the thing: She doesn't want the person she loves the most to die, nor does she want them to vanish when she dooms the world. It's a lose lose either way. It's a dumb deal and you just have to go with it. But it does't matter anyway. We are here for vibes, lest we lose our minds. My sister and I literally had an hour long Marco Polo session trying to figure out how this deal made any sense. That math doesn't math no matter how long you look at it.
While logic was not in the dramas repertoire, Doom At Your Service felt like a Young Adult book of my youth, where a powerful supernatural being takes notice of an ordinary girl and they fall in love. The romance was gradual, and I admit, I was rooting for those two crazy kids. And thankfully, the lead couple didn't have a 2ML trying to barge in. That honor fell to the Second Couple, which was mildly cute, but less interesting.
Seo In Guk played (ML) Kim Sa Ram as intense and moody, and slayed as usual. Park Bo Young (FL actress) cried alot, but did a great job portraying someone at their wits end. The ending could have wrapped up more tightly and with more explanation, but it was a fun watch that added a touch of magic to the ordinary.
Story=3 (Pacing is uneven and the "mechanism" that drives the story doesn't make sense), Acting=4, Production Quality=4, Ending=3, Enjoyability= 4 (the pacing is uneven, but for the most part I was interested), Would I rewatch= Yeah
