Non-Spoiler Thoughts:

Strong Girl Bong Soon was the role that shot both Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young into superstardom, and is the 2nd most popular drama of all time on MDL. The premise was a fun twist on a superhero tale that thankfully stays grounded and contained, adding fun to an already enjoyable romance. The cancelled Kim Ji Soo makes an appearance as the 2ML and I honestly forgot he was in this lol. I really liked certain aspects of the drama: Park Bo Young nailed the role, the characters were likable, and the super strength didn't dominate the plot, but instead moved it forward. However, I didn't like the serial killer plot line. Not for me. Not when it's dark outside. No thank you.

Even though I didn't finish, the drama is so popular that I recommend all K-drama lovers at least check it out. I'm just a little wimp, okay.

The drama has a (unfortunate) spin off in which Park Bo Young makes a brief cameo, called Strong Girl Nam Soon.

The vibe is very different lol

Story=3, Acting=3.5, Production Quality=3, Ending=3, Enjoyability= 2

Why I dropped:

  • I don't love serial killer plots

  • Dragged
