Synopsis:
Jung Hae Seong, an elite NIS agent facing demotion, goes undercover at Byeongmun High School to locate King Gojong’s missing gold bars. Posing as a student, he encounters O Su A, a contract Korean history teacher with dreams of becoming a full-time faculty member. As they grow closer, Hae Seong uncovers the school's dark corruption. Non-Spoiler Thoughts:
The plot of Undercover High School is so unserious. It's meant to be a pure action comedy, wasn't ever actually that funny. I have qualms about dramas that have full grown adults going undercover as teenagers to begin with, but the ick was compounded by the fact that the ML's "teacher" (FL) seemed to to take an interest in the ML BEFORE she knew that he is a full grown adult. And I mean, I get it. This man does look like he's 31, but she doesn't know that! But again, the whole thing was so lighthearted that it's all kind of meant to be a gag. Maybe I will finish one day, but in the meantime, at least I'm glad I gave this a try for the sole reason that I now know Quiznos is still kicking in S Korea
Why I dropped:
Seems like the FL is interested in the ML before she knows he's an adult, and not a student
Wanted it to be funnier
