Synopsis:

Non-Spoiler Thoughts:
My Love From the Star is very dated by the Justin Bieber (circa "Baby") side swoop hair everyone was rocking, along with those exceptionally tight skinny jeans *chills*. The drama is the early work of the creators of Crash Landing on You, Queen of Tears, and Legend of the Blue Sea, and I thought I was going to love it, but I couldn't buy into the romance. Jun Ji Hyun (FL Actress) plays her character very similarly to her role in Legend of the Blue Sea, but it doesn't work here because she's not a mermaid in this lol. I really didn't jive with the character or performance. Kim Soo Hyun (ML Actor) plays the typical Kim Soo Hyun role and although he's only 6 years the junior of the FL, he felt way younger, which didn't help to support the backstory of his character, who is supposed to be hundreds of years older. Overall, it just wasn't for me.
