Spoiler-Free Mini Review:
A modern take on a Wuxia that starts off with a bang but looses focus and time towards the end. The highlight of the show was the balanced relationship between Hei Feng Xi (ML) and Bai Feng Xi (FL). Both parties brought their all to the relationship and their dynamic was so fun. The chemistry wasn't exactly giving off any sparks, but I loved the way they were written.

Though this is a Wuxia, it is a Frankenstein of other Idol genres with a smarting of court politics and sibling drama. I thought these segments were well done (until the the end lol) but I wish Hei Feng Xi could have focused on the martial world more. The bun was not his best look.

The last five-ish episodes were a bit rushed and messy, which I think is due the production running out of money and awkward editing. As for the martial arts, they weren't super impressive compared to shows like Ever Night. That being said, I really enjoyed the drama and I do think it's an easier entry point into Wuxia for beginners than other dramas of the genre.

Story=4.25, Acting=3.5, Production Quality=4, Rewatch Value=4.75, Ending=3. (focused too much on the battle), Enjoyability= 5
