Spoiler-Free Mini Review:

Hallmark is shaking in its knee high Christmas tree farm leather boots, because Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ate it up at its own premise. The drama follows a big city girl, looking for a fresh start when she moves to a seaside village and finds romance with the community's Jack of All Trade's...said every Hallmark plot ever lol. But Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was indeed a breath of fresh air in the sea of stale Christmas Sweaters lurking on streaming services, with its tight storyline, emotional arcs, and actual acting.
The drama committed to the slice of life format, so don't expect an edge of your seat watch. Hong Doo Shik (ML) was the character I was the most interested in, and sadly, I never felt that connection to Yoon Hye Jin (FL). She felt a little more run of the mill. The two were a cute couple, but I actually thought the FL's friend had a romance that was more fun.

The side characters had a hefty chunk of screen time, but I wasn't invested in their stories as I watched, though the resolution was heartwarming.
Overall, the drama was solid, but I feel pretty meh about it in retrospect. I'd recommend it for those who want romance, a leisurely pace, and a fun community.

And perhaps the greatest Domino's product placement of all time? As subtle as a hand grenade.
This picture of Kim Seon Ho will haunt me in my sleep. Literally the stuff of nightmares. Who made this?
Story=4, Acting=3.5 (didn't love the FL in this role, but loved the ML), Production Quality=4, Ending= 4, Enjoyability= 3.75, Would I rewatch= No
