I have quite a few thoughts on this drama: I LOVED everything about it for the first four episodes, but then it became an inane drawn out cooking contest...

2.7/5 Stars: A satirical Transmigration Period Rom Com (whew) that lost its way, and drank too much of its own Kool Aid to remember what it was trying to be.

2.9/5 Stars: An annoying FL, inconsistent characters, and poor pacing make Moon River a body swapping drama I'd rather swap out for something else.

3/5 Stars:A mid-tier historical fantasy filled with romance, painting, and demons.

A hybrid of Kingdom and The Haunted Palace with visual traits of Stranger Things, The East Palace is light on frights, heavy on squelching, and filled with vengeful spirits-- both living and dead.
