My Love From the Star is very dated by the Justin Bieber (circa "Baby") side swoop hair everyone was rocking, along with those exceptionally tight skinny jeans *chills*. The drama is the early work of the creators of Crash Landing on You, Queen of Tears, and Legend of the Blue Sea, and I thought I was going to love it, but I couldn't buy into the romance...

I really liked the first few episodes and thought the leads had great chemistry. Unfortunately, the FL was too immature for her age for me to take her seriously and after the "mystery" is revealed the story drags. The secondary romance was also kind of weird...

True Beauty is the 10th most popular drama on MDL and has a reputation for second lead syndrome...

A contemporary fantasy with Nine Tailed Aspirations with a likable couple, but the acting wasn't there for me. ..

I have quite a few thoughts on this drama: I LOVED everything about it for the first four episodes, but then it became an inane drawn out cooking contest...

Why I dropped: This one is on me. I didn't pay attention to the MA rating and was caught off guard by all the swearing. I'm a wimp when it comes to that sort of thing, but I know people really like this one, so if that's not a concern, I say go for it!
