3.1/5 Stars: A Xianxia that tells the same 6.2/10 Stars: A Xianxia that tells the same old story well, with a battle hardened FL who struggles to emote and a ML who considers love a taboo. Pacing is iffy and acting wasn't the strength, but there was good chemistry and production quality.

6.2/5 Stars: The First Frost (a standalone sister drama to Hidden Love) is what I imagine Wattpad is probably like. We have an irresistible FL, stalkerish ML, and so much contrived trauma it felt like the spiritual successor of the novel, A Little Life. The vibes were off, but it is very popular internationally.

6.75/10 Stars: A true enemies to lovers romance with a cunning FL and an aura farming ML with a grudge, bogged down by canal building and politics that dragged.

6.8/10 Stars: A slower paced food focused drama where a whole modern day family is yeeted to the Tang Dynasty, and the female lead falls in love... with her ancestor.

This rating is based purely on entertainment value. It is a fun time not a quality time. I'd recommend to those who are willing to suspend disbelief in favor of great chemistry and swoony romance.
