3.6/5 Stars: Mostly an idol romance, with some inner household scheming and a ML who does his thang in a political side plot.

7.3/10 Stars: If you're not into angst or high fantasy, this romance might be a skip. But the leads actually have chemistry and the story gets better as it goes along.

7.9/10 Stars: A cheesy fantasy with Halloweentown vibes, and intriguing cases and side romances to boot.

8/10 Stars: A perfect starter Xianxia with oodles of silly whimsy and angst, a swoony 2ML, and a ML you grow to root for.

This rating is based purely on entertainment value. It is a fun time not a quality time. I'd recommend to those who are willing to suspend disbelief in favor of great chemistry and swoony romance.

8/10 Stars: A Ming Dynasty Bachelorette where the winner not only gets a rose, but a big ol' tea farm in a romance starring a feirce FL and a loyal ML, whose love story took the backseat to an engrossing fight for the family throne.
