6.5/10 Stars: A Wuxia with a cool story that gets tripped up by a tangled romance and wooden acting. But there is a dude who looks like a Ninja Tutrtle, so that's fun. The drama had many issues, but I was seated for all 56 episodes. I have no excuse.

8.1/10 Stars: A mild romance made better by gorgeous cinematography (think Pursuit of Jade) and the brilliant scheming of the FL and ML.

8/10 Stars: An artificially sweetened period idol drama, Pursuit of Jade is flawed in its aesthetic flawlessness, that through no fault of its own, finds itself the recipient of both praise and criticism in response to overhyped internet fandom, reigning as the most thoroughly produced and popular drama of the year.
